There are at least 19 libraries for every state (23 for New York attorneys). The price for all the libraries for a state is $3,500 less a $350 credit for each state library previously purchased. For example, if you have licensed 4 libraries for your state, the price for the remaining libraries for your state would be $2,100 ($3,500 minus a $1,400 credit). To License a Multi-State Version of a Library:
If you practice in more than one state, you can purchase multi-state versions of the DL libraries. The multi-state versions ask you which state law is to govern and then produce documents reflecting the laws of the state you select. You can choose between the laws of 49 states (not Louisiana) plus D.C. The multi-state version of each library costs $700, less a $350 credit if you already licensed your state's version of the library. If you want multi-state versions of all the DL libraries, the cost is $7,000, less a credit for libraries you previously licensed.
